I come from a rich history of Masonry. My Grandfather, WB Ernie Reeder was a Past Master(1978) from Grain Valley, MO Lodge No 644. His eldest son, (my uncle) J. Mike Reeder was raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason in Dec 1974, and also is a past master of Lodge No 644 (1979). He is very active (45 years) in the Order of the Eastern Star with his wife Cinda Reeder, where both are part of the Grand Chapter of Missouri...WB Mike Reeder was elected as the Worthy Grand Patron in MO 2019-2020. He is a current member of Blue Springs, MO Lodge No 338 and OES Blue Springs Chapter No 428. His son, WB Mark Reeder was raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason in Bentonville, AK Lodge No 56. He had since moved to Silver Lake, KS and is the WM of Silver Lake Lodge No 50. He is currently the Area Deputy Grand Master and has the distinction of Right Worshipful. Both WB Mike and RW Mark are active members in the Shrine of their respected jurisdictions.

Which is a long winded introduction to how I became a Mason! After conversations at length with my cousin Mark, I petitioned Franklin No 5 lodge in Port Gamble, WA Jan 17th, 2019. Eager to grow better as a man, I worked diligently through the Degrees and was raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason in August of 2019. I immediately knew I had to petition the Scottish Rite. My petition was accepted and I was blessed to have been conferred the Degrees in the Fall Reunion of 2019, accepting my Cap and Ring December 18th of that same year.

My passion for the Craft grows every day. I have been nominated and have accepted the position of JD of Franklin Lodge No 5 (2019-2020), Prelate, Minister of State (Council of Kadosh of the Consistory), Chairman of Public Relations and Webmaster for our Valley. I look forward to a rich life of betterment with the Valley and Masonry the world over.
